Q: How do I book Group Exercise Classes and Small Group Personal Training Sessions?
A: Download the JJK Personal Trainer app onto a smartphone. Create an account using an e-mail and password. You can then book classes and sessions via the app. Alternatively, log in on the website and select a class or session to book.
Q: How many days in advance can I book classes?
A: You can book all classes up to 7 days in advance
Q: How long are the classes?
A: Small Group Personal Training Sessions are 45 minutes long. Group Exercise Classes are between 45 minutes to one hour long. The only exception is the JJK1000 class at 1 hour 45 mins duration.
The 45 minute sessions require you to warm up in your own time beforehand, whereas the trainer will warm you up and cool you down for the one hour classes.
Q: How do I cancel Group Exercise Classes and Small Group Personal Training Sessions?
A: You can cancel classes either via the app or on the website at least two hours in advance of the start time.
Q: How do I cancel my 1-to-1 or paired Personal Training Session?
A: You must contact the trainer directly at least 24 hours in advance. If 24 hours notice is not given, you will lose that session.
Q: Can I bring a friend to a class?
A: Yes, you can offer them a 7 day free trial. Contact us in order to organise one.
Q: Do you have nutrition packages at JJK Health & Fitness?
A: We have a Nutritional Therapist who works with us. You can book an initial consultation with her for £125. Contact us for more details.

Q: How long is the contract?
A: The initial contact is for 3 months. After 3 months has elapsed, the notice period for cancellation is 28 days.
Q: Can the contract be frozen?
A: The contract can be put on hold for one month providing notice is given.
Q: What do the 1-to-1 Personal Training Sessions cost?
A: 45 minute sessions equate to £45 per session and one hour sessions equate to £55 per session.
Q: Will I be charged if I don’t attend a class?
A: If you are a ‘Pay as you go’ member, you will lose your session if you don’t give at least two hours notice. There is no penalty for members on a monthly contract.
Q: How do I make payment?
A: For monthly contracts, one month’s payment is taken in advance and then a standing order can be set up to deduct regular monthly payments on the same day each month.
Q: What facilities do you have at JJK Health & Fitness?
A: We have ample free parking and toilet facilities. At present, we do not have changing rooms with showers.
Q: Can I use the gym on my own?
A: No, all gym use must be supervised either by a Personal Trainer or Group Exercise Instructor.

Q: How do you track progress and results at JJK Health & Fitness?
A: We use a device called ‘MyTanita’ which can be synced to a smartphone via the app. It provides detailed information on your biometrics and a real time snapshot of how you are progressing towards your fitness goals.
Q: What is MyZone?
A: MyZone is a goal setting tracking device which we use for all of our clients. It is a bespoke heart rate strap which tracks your calories and shows how hard you are working.
Q: What is MyTanita?
A: MyTanita is an App that you can run which is linked to our Studio Scales and helps us monitor not just weight but other key physical statistics.
